Shrubs

A shrub may also be referred to as a bush. A shrub will tend to have many low level woody branches or stems which distinguishes it from a tree which typically has one stem or trunk which can grow to many metres in height before branches form.

Shrubs can be shaped with pruning or be left to naturally shape based on their environment and neighbouring plants, trees and other shrubs.

One of the most common type of shrubs is the rose bush. Roses have beautiful flowers that are used in perfumeries as well as in beauty treatments and as decorations. Read more facts about roses.
